Here the Sun and Moon Dance

By Shishira Philip

We will meet again,

At a star-filled kingdom no one knows

Where there are silk-layered seas

and the hallways of the castle echoes with sweet music

I will wear a dress made of sunlight,

satin and gold

You will wear a coat made of night,

black and silver

Your ears will pick up the sounds of melodies

My eyes will light up at the presence of stories

We will hold a lamp which captures

our every curve

Our eyes will express feelings that we cannot utter

Our hands will not let each other go.
