Journal Submissions

The SFWP Journal publishes fiction, creative nonfiction, and book reviews. Please familiarize yourself with the kind of submissions we are looking for in 2021. You may find our masthead here.

Ideally, your entry will be around 2500 – 3500 words in length.  We like to keep it short for the internet audience so we are open an occasional flash fiction piece.  However, we will go to 5000 words, and we have published longer work in the past.  If your entry exceeds 5000 words, then please contact us first at sfwritersproject@gmail.com  with more details and a synopsis.

Multiple entries are accepted.

When you submit your work for consideration, you should:

• Include a short author biography (50-75 words), including publishing credits.

• Let us know if the piece has been published elsewhere, including online (previously published work is OK — just let us know, please).

• Submit a Word doc or RTF via Submittable. Please do not submit PDF’s to the journal.
